AT WEST END STUDIO

Dear Students,

With the closure of our Cambie studio and as a result fewer classes, we are very aware that this has affected your practice.  We are trying to address your invaluable feedback and to accommodate as many students as possible.

Commencing Monday November 10:

•  8 am class added at West End from Monday to Friday
  
• 12 noon class at West End will only be scheduled on weekends Saturday & Sunday

Our administration office, which was previously located at the Cambie studio, has been set up and we are back to operating at full capacity at a new location.  We have been trying to make calls to each of our students registered at the Cambie studio. 

On behalf of everyone at Bikram Yoga Vancouver, I'd like to thank everyone for their support and encouragement.  I shall be making an announcement regarding a new studio location within this month.

CAMBIE STUDIO CLOSURE

Dear Students,

** Cambie Studio Closure **

Increased Classes at Kits and West End Studios

In spite of our growth and the success that Bikram Yoga Vancouver has experienced with your continued support, we have been forced to close our Cambie studio location due to a leasing issue.

After negotiating for several months, we were unable to come to an agreement with the landlord of Plaza 500 Hotels Ltd on a reasonable lease for the location.  The landlord was intent on charging rent 4 times what we were paying just 12 months ago along with other demands.  We negotiated to the last minute with hopes of reaching a multi-year agreement.  The massive increase simply is not sustainable, and is in conflict with our policy of providing you and other clients with an affordable Bikram experience.

Furthermore, we have been made to vacate the premises by November 1, 2008. Our Kitsilano and West End studios will be increasing the number of daily classes to accommodate students from Cambie. A class schedule will be available on our website.

A new studio will open in the Cambie area again and we will make an announcement once we have confirmed the details and schedule for the new location.

On behalf of Bikram Yoga Vancouver, our instructors and our staff, we ask for your support during this time.  We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
