KITSILANO STUDIO CLOSURE - Evening of Friday May 27, 2011 to the morning of May 28, 2011.
On Friday May 27, 2011, the last class will be at 4:15pm. Studio will close at 6:15pm. The studio will not reopen until May 28, 2011 at 10:30 am. The first class will be at 11:00am.

DISCONTUNINUING PLASTIC WATER BOTTLE SALES - 15 APRIL 2011
We will be discontinuing water bottle sales in our studios due to the toxic nature of plastic on our health and environment as part of our New Year's Resolution to make greener efforts! You can purchase a Lifefactory glass water bottle in our studios or fill up your own with one of our filtered water taps! We have a stainless steel branded bottled on the shelves as a replacement!

WESTEND STUDIO UPDATE - 7 MARCH 2011
We are excited to share with you that our Alberni Street location is in the process of being renovated! For the next two months the studio will be undergoing some major interior upgrades. Thankfully most of the work will happen without interruption to scheduled class times. However, when the time comes for the studio to be closed we will provide you with ample notice of studio closures and cancelled classes.
During this time please feel free to join us at our 2681 W Broadway location in Kitsilano and be sure to regularly check our online schedules! If you would like email alerts, contact our front desk to make sure we have your most updated email address to keep you informed!

Also, lately we have been going the extra mile to find clean, green solutions to make our studio a more comfortable place to be. We have had internal testing done to ensure our studio is above health standards. We are happy to report the good news that our yoga room is in prime condition!
Did you know that sitting soap dispensers are a major source for bacterial growth? We didn't! The new hand soaps and shower soaps at Kits are the most sanitary soap dispensers available - be sure to test them out!

Dear Students,
We have secured a space in City Square Mall at 12th and Cambie to open our new studio! We are finalizing negotiations with the landlord and have begun our interior design process.
We are extremely excited and cannot wait to have up to 90 yogis hit their mats as early as Summer 2011 and at the latest September 1st, 2011.

CAMBIE STUDIO UPDATE - 22 APRIL 2010
As some of you may have heard, Bikram Yoga Vancouver is planning, with an emphasis on "planning", to re-open a studio in the Cambie & Broadway corridor.
At this time, we have made a successful offer to lease (OTL) and currently are studying the feasibility of opening a studio. Land-use, zoning and by-law hurdles are among a myriad of other challenges still to overcome with City planners, lawyers, and the property owner.
We are, however, cautiously optimistic that a final and formal lease can be struck in due course but this may take a year.

SCHEDULE CHANGE - 9 DECEMBER
Wednesday, 9 December 2009, due to a staff function the following schedule changes have been made:
Kitsilano - last class will be held at 4:15pm. The evening classes at 6:00pm, 7:45pm, and 9:00pm are cancelled.
West End - last class will be held at 4:00pm. The evening classes at 6:00pm and 8:00pm are cancelled.
Regular schedule resumes Thursday, 10 December 2009.

CAMBIE STUDIO UPDATE
At the moment we have not secured a site for the relocation of Cambie studio. We are however looking at other properties, and are at varying stages of negotiation.
A relocation studio is on the top of our day-to-day agenda and we are very motivated to open soon. As you can appreciate, finding the right building, with the right zoning and parking by-laws has been challenging.
I sincerely hope to share good news with our students in the near future.
